What is Dye Sublimation?

Dye sublimation is an incredibly reliable way to transfer an image to fabric. Gone are the days of unreliable “iron on transfers” that inevitably chip, crack, and fade. As the name suggests, dye sublimation literally dyes your image deep into the fabric, without ever changing the fabrics’ natural feeling, making its colors vibrant and 100% washable!

Dye Sublimation Process

Step 1:  Graphics are done of your image, and then reproduced onto paper using dye-sublimation inks.

Step 2:  The image and fabric are heated at 400°F to transform the dyes from a liquid to a gaseous state, dyeing the fibers of the material forever.

Step 3:  Your newly dyed fabric photo is now assembled into your own one-of-a-kind Blushing Bags custom handbag or decorative pillow.
